A Subsidiary of Reflective Life Ministries
"Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity." – Psalm 133:1
The Stronger Alliance doesn’t endorse organizations, but merely serves as a connection. Ministries, endorsing agencies, organizations, churches and individuals listed on this site agree on the Statement of Faith as a unifying understanding and basis for collaboration in gospel-centered ministry. Stronger Alliance has the right to deny or remove any such entity at any time and for any reason.
The Stronger Alliance exists to unify Christ-centered organizations whose objectives are to aid those men and women living in the shadows of PTS (Post Traumatic Stress) and turn them into Post Traumatic Successes for God’s glory.
- 1. SA—To unite Christ-centered organizations across the United States whose objectives are to help those living in the shadows of PTSD.
- 2. SA Groups—To create a national grassroots movement of like-minded people within communities, churches, workplaces, or schools that stand with our veterans, first-responders, and those affected by traumatic life experiences. A growing hunger exists in our nation to return to the values our forefathers built America upon. SA Groups are not political, but patriotic in nature. SA Groups serve as prayer support and encouragement for those who put their lives on the line to protect and defend our nation, communities, homes, and rights.
Statistics show that 8% of the United States population (approximately 25 million people) suffers from PTSD. Statistics show 22 military veterans take their lives in the United States every day. Many first responders, as well as civilians, also live silently in the shadows of PTSD. As a result, many Christ-centered organizations have formed across the United States to help men and women dealing with the problems associated with PTSD. These groups usually operate independently yet have the same goals. Uniting these organizations through the STRONGER ALLIANCE website brings strength, fortitude, energy, and common vision to the whole. (Eccl. 4:12, Phil. 4:13, Matt. 11: 28)
The STRONGER ALLIANCE website serves as a hub or base station for connecting organizations with each other as well as to those battling PTS. Each participating organization goes through a vetting process to make sure it fits the SA guidelines. The SA website provides suggestions on how to start a SA Group in their communities.
This film brings awareness of PTS and the hope and healing found in Jesus. STRONGER explores a soldier’s battle with PTS as he struggles to recover from his injuries and fit back into the civilian world. In the end, he learns he can’t do it by himself. At the conclusion of STRONGER, when the credits roll, there is a “Call to Action.” The audience is encouraged to download the STRONGER Alliance APP for their phone, which links them to the STRONGER Companion Booklet, resource links, Christ-centered organizations contact information, links to churches who have trauma recovery groups, and so much more.
